The final step in the construction process is to restore the ROW to preconstruction conditions. This involves respreading the topsoil and grading the ROW to match original contours. [new paragraph] Any remaining construction debris, surplus materials, and equipment are then removed from the ROW.
Once final grading is complete, seeding and/or replanting of the ROW occurs. Except for the limited area maintained as the permanent ROW, all disturbed areas will be allowed to revegetate to their preconstruction condition.
